WHEN TREATING WORDS WHOSE
FINAL CONSONANTS MAY BE DOUBLED,WE MUST RESPECT THREE RULES-NOT
JUST ONE -AS YOU MENTIONED
IN THE CASE OF 'buy' you'd better not
consider'y' or'w' in final positions
as consonants
concerning the verb 'listen',the stress
is not on the final vowel-e-but
it is on the first'li'of the verb 'listen
TO SEE ALL THE THREE RULES
AND MORE DETAILS,I WILL WRITE
A SHORT COMMENT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
اتمنى النجاح لكل الدفاتريين
و السلام'
