كلمة ok أصبحت جزءا مجزئا في حياتنا نستعملها يوميا في حياتنا الاجتماعية و العملية .........، وحقيقة أصلها هي اختصار لمدينة أمريكية

(( old kodahok ))
الواقعة في ولاية نيويورك في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية .
وسبب انتشار هذا اللفظ الذي تحول إلى كلمة أن مرشح للرئاسة في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية ، أبن هذه المدينة وأسمه مارتن فان بودين . هذا الرجل استخدم عبارة "انتخبوا أبن أولد كوداهوك" في حملته الانتخابية واختصرها الى
( انتخبوا ابن ( o.k

وكان المؤيدين له يهتفون ok ok ok ok
حتى صار هذا اللفظ يعني الموافقة والقبول

ويرجى اخذ العلم أن مارتن فان بودين نجح في حملته الانتخابية

.متى نستخدم المضارع البسيط؟

نستخدم المضارع البسيط للتحدث عن شيء يتكرر في الحاضر مثلا:

I go to school everydayd8s.

أذهب إلى المدرسة كل يوم.

The sun rises in the East.

الشمس تطلع من الشرق.

My father always gets up early

أبي دائما يستيقظ باكرا


2. كيف يتكون المضارع البسيط؟ ( نأخذ فعل play كمثال )

I play

You play

He plays

She plays

We play

They play

نلاحظ أن الفعل في المضارع البسيط يكون في أصله ما عدا مع الضمائر he she it حيث يأخذ حرف s في آخره.

3 . كيف يتكون النفي في المضارع البسيط ؟ ( نأخذ فعل play كمثال )

يتكون النفي في المضارع البسيط بإضافة don't / doesn'tقبل أصل الفعل

He doesn"t play

4 . كيف نكون السؤال في المضارع البسيط؟ ( نأخذ فعل play كمثال )

يتكون السؤال في المضارع البسيط بإضافة do أو does قبل الفاعل.

I would like to raise this debatable issue of teaching the ******** and the culture. Hope to receive satisfactory replies ....

we've been thought that a Foreign ******** learning is comprised of several components, including grammatical competence, communicative competence, ******** proficiency, as well as a change in attitudes towards one’s own or another culture. The part that is concerned with feeding the students with new values has been controversial to me and I would like to have this point of view shared here. Why should we teach their culture while it mostly conradicts with our own culture? Since when the idea of BF and GF is common in our coursebooks? These are qs among others te be discussed within this board.

Hello dear colleagues, I think it's a good idea to devote this part to teachers' discussions. Everyone will share his ideas, convictions, teaching experiences with others and exchange everything. :icon30:

I think that sharing websites is a good thing but sharing real teaching experience in pure Moroccan context is better. Why not share ideas about: The use of Arabic in English classes.We found ourselves sometimes in this Dilema: should I use Arabic or not and how often? some inspectors would criticise teachers for even moderate use of Arabic and some say that it's necessary to avoid waste of time.What do you think?

Personally, i do use Arabic from time to time. I teach in a room whereby there is not power and i asked my headmaster to change that room to allow me to bring my laptop. the latter will help me avoid Arabic and will allow me to do listening too. However, it is somehow very difficult to explain as an example Grammar without shifting to Arabic. This is of course if you want to warrantee the success of the lesson.

Thank you MOONRIVER for your contribution.I was wondering how helpful is your laptop in avoiding the use of arabic? I mean it's very useful when it comes to listening activities but is it so when used to display pictures? I sometimes find myself , especially in grammar lessons, forced to explain in Arabic and I am totally convinced that it's the right way to do it because I know students hate Grammar and hate hearing grammatical explanation that is also in English

J'ai lu avec un intérêt démésuré les différentes contributions des professeurs de la langue anglaise.Finalement j'ai pas trouvé grand chose.A mon sens,il faut exploiter cet espace en vue d'échanger votre expérience,votre expertise et mettre à contribution votre potentiel en vue de peaufiner votre production en cette langue et débattre des sujets et des thèmes qui viseront l'amélioration de vos compétences.Really,we want to improve our level in this foreing ********.I wish that you discuss mostly a lot of subject in english

I am an English teacher who teaches in a junior high school . I just want to open up a discussion regarding the use of English text books, English Horizons and Focus, in Moroccon Junior High Schools. As far as I am concerned, I used Focus in my first year, but the inspector asked me to use English Horizons because that is the text book which is adopted in our district. I feel that English Horizons lacks organization and suitable texts to expose students to. Also, I feel that the pictures used in English Horizons are not suitable to the age group that is supposed to used the book. Having said that, I hope hat we will exchange views concerning these two text books to try to expose their strong and weak spots in order to learn from each other s experience. I hope to hear from you all.

i've been working with focus for three years now.to tell the truth, it also lacks organization. and it is very limited. anyway, the text book is not a holy book and you are wrong if you think that you can only abide by it. it is good to use it as an outline but you'll have to bring other materials (VAs/ activities/flash cards ........) to make your lesson successful. there is also a problem in the order of the lessons; all the units start with communication whereas it would be better if we start with vocabulary and then move to communication

Thanks for your thoughts. I personally find myself relying very often on Focus to make up for the deficiensies in Horizon. I hope to hear from as many teachers as possible to try to list all the deficiencies. This list may be used for reconsidering the textbook or for future amendement
