a-hamid doesn't smoke anymore.1
b-rachid gave up his hobby of collecting stamps.2
c-the smiths have moved from morocco.3
d-liela resigned from work after her illness.4

The exercise is about using "used to" in order to say that these people no longer do what they used to do as said in a.b.c.d: from "a" we infer that Hamid used to smoke OK! .

Sorry, shouldn't have given all the answers , just an example would have been sufficient to get the rule. If we had to give all the answers ,then students will have all their homeworks done by us and all they have to do is ask for it and not discover by themselves. that was just my point of view!
