I am an English teacher who teaches in a junior high school . I just want to open up a discussion regarding the use of English text books, English Horizons and Focus, in Moroccon Junior High Schools. As far as I am concerned, I used Focus in my first year, but the inspector asked me to use English Horizons because that is the text book which is adopted in our district. I feel that English Horizons lacks organization and suitable texts to expose students to. Also, I feel that the pictures used in English Horizons are not suitable to the age group that is supposed to used the book. Having said that, I hope hat we will exchange views concerning these two text books to try to expose their strong and weak spots in order to learn from each other s experience. I hope to hear from you all.

use your own way forget about text book it is just a reference.both of them are bad .

You should use more than one book because one Moroccan book is not enough. This a useful website where you can find a lot of textbooks
