activities have become indispensable to good teaching and learning. they break the routine to both students and teachers. they also help ss learn better.
so why don't we share our activities
here is mine
you can arrange your ss in a circle ( or some of your ss, since we all have crowded classes) . give them sth(example a pencilcase) that they can pass around the circle. each student says a word in English and passes the pencilcase to the ss on the right. if a student repeats his peer's word or if he hesitates or says an incorrect word he is eliminated. at the end you'll have a winner. you can give him sweets as a reward
this activity can be done with words , setences, numbers, alphabet.... you can specify the context ( food/ drinks/ sports/ animals/ in the classroom
